We offer sessions with a licensed psychologist for privately funded therapy. One advantage of private therapy is that you get to choose how often and how many times you want to see your psychologist. As always with Mindler, you choose your psychologist yourself, and you can have your sessions where and when it suits you.

How can we help?

You don't need to know exactly what you want to work on in therapy or why you feel the way you do. Your psychologist will help you identify your needs and create a treatment plan for you. Common areas that we treat are:

Your psychologist can also provide support and advice in a difficult situation or life transition, provide pro-active mental health strategies or help you build healthier habits. Our psychologist all rely on evidence-based practice.

Frequently asked questions

How long can I attend private therapy?

In private therapy, there are no restrictions on the length of treatment. How long you want to be in therapy and for what is up to you. However, if your psychologist conclude that more sessions will not be helpful for you, they will inform you of this and recommend that you end the contact.

What is the difference between private therapy and treatment within Swedish primary care?

One difference is that in private therapy you can choose how often and for how long you wish to see your psychologist. In primary care, there are certain frameworks governing the length of the treatment, for example.

In private therapy, you can also get help in more areas. For example, you can see a psychologist for occasional counseling sessions or get help with your personal development, which is not possible in primary care. Our bundles for private therapy is also an option if you wish to continue with therapy after your contact in primary care has ended.

Please note that in private therapy, you fund the cost of treatment yourself. High-cost protection and free card do not apply to private therapy.

What is included in the bundles?

The bundles contain three, five or ten sessions with a psychologist. You'll meet the psychologist in a video call and each session is 25 minutes long. When you buy a bundle, you'll also get access to all iCBT programs in the app for as long as the bundle is valid.

How do I use the iCBT programs?

When you buy a bundle, you get access to all iCBT programs in the app for as long as your bundle is valid. The programs contain information, tools and exercises to help you learn more about yourself and what you need to change to feel better. For example, you can find new ways to deal with negative thoughts, learn to identify your thought traps, find strategies to help you stand up for yourself, and practice tolerating uncertainty.

iCBT stands for internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy. All our programs are written by psychologists and based on research and clinically proven treatment manuals for various psychological conditions, such as stress, self-esteem issues, depression, worry and anxiety.

Work with the programs at any time on your own, or combine them with video sessions with your psychologist.

Which bundle should I choose?

Which bundle you choose depends on your needs and your goals with therapy. If you don't know, we recommend starting with three sessions.

If your psychologist determines that Mindler is not right for you after your first session, you'll be refundend for the bundle, excluding 800 kr for that session.
